A Visit to the Egyptian Museum in Torino

After starting off the weekend with an evening of Mexican dining, honoring of the coming Olympic Games with the Olympic Margerita Rings above, on Sunday January 29 we toured the Egyptian Museum in Torino.

This museum houses the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts outside of Cairo. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking.

The items in these pictures were buried in the tombs of the deceased, for them to enjoy in the afterlife.
Guess they never heard the saying, 'You can't take it with you.'

(WARNING! There's a scary picture coming up. It may be too intense for younger viewers.)

It;s coming up after this one...

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

This is the winter hat that came with our NBC Torino Olympics clothing.
I don't think I'll need it here, because it hasn't snowed much yet, and has been relatively warm.
But, you'll probably never see me in it again, so laugh it up now.
